2012 Important Dates -

February 1 - Online Registration Opens

February 11th - IN PERSON registration from 9 am to Noon

February 23rd - IN PERSON registration from 6 pm to 9 pm

March 7th - On time Registration ends, late fee starts

April 15th and 16th - Coaches Meetings and Rosters handed out

April 29th - Season begins

June 22nd - June 24th Majors South of the River Border Battle

June 23rd - Mite Fun Day

June 30th - Regular Season ends

July 9th - 15th Playoff games

July 20th - 22nd Championship Weekend

August 3rd - 5th State Rec Championships

Monday May 7 Game Location Changes

The following Major Games have changed field locations for tonight's games –

Eagle Ridge White Sox versus Metcalf Giants will move from Sue Fisher to Loftus Field in Savage, Vernon Road just north of County 42

Eagle Ridge Twins versus Metcalf Reds will move from Sue Fisher to Chateaulin in eastern Burnsville.

Start times are the same.

The decision to cancel games is generally left to the coaches after inspecting individual fields and the latest weather conditions. If the league cancels all games due to unplayable field conditions, this information will be posted on this site by 4:30 pm on the day of the scheduled games.

2012 Baseball Season is Coming Soon!

It's time to think about green grass, the crack of the bat, and geetting back on the field for 2012. The Committee is preparing for January meetings, and February registrations. Its coming fast!

We are looking forward to continuing our relationship at Ponys with the Prior Lake and Shakopee teams. We had a lot of good feedback on that from last year. Everyone enjoyed some new competition and new locations.

Also at Ponys and Seniors, we are meeting with the City of Savage to see how we can make improvements to Pacer field at MW Savage School. It is the only 90' field in the City of Savage and needs some serious upgrading.

At Squirt 3 we are going to implement kid-pitch at half season after a lot of review and preparation over the past few seasons.

At Majors we will again have the South of the River Border Battle tournament which included 16 teams from 5 communities. It was very competitive tournament last year with Championship winner Eagan and Consolation Championship winner Farmington Black.

Lots of good things happening at all levels of our organization. We are looking forward to another great season in 2012!

The program is all volunteers, and we need volunteers to make it happen with 1000 players and 70 plus teams. If you are interested in helping the program in any way, please email me and let me know how you would like to help. Volunteers are needed for positions that require a little bit of time or a LOT depending on your appetite and time available.
